Our approach in four steps

Assess the student(s)’ current abilities in the foreign language:
If you are not a beginner an oral and written assessment will be performed.

Analyze the needs of the student(s):
Why do you need to study the foreign language? Does your occupation require familiarity or conversational ability in a foreign language? Are you planning to travel to a foreign country and want to be able to communicate effectively? Or do you just wish to study the language for your own pleasure and enrichment?

Identify the educational objectives of the student(s):
Do you want to learn to write, converse, conduct presentations, speak at meetings, etc… in the foreign language?

Build a personalized course:
The language course is tailored to the needs and objectives of the student(s).

Number of hours and duration of the course

We all know that being proficient in a foreign language does not happen overnight. However, our experienced instructors have mastered sound methodologies for foreign language acquisition and will make the process happen. Each language instructor working for us is a native speaker and has been practicing in the profession for at least 10 years.

Number of Hours
After assessing your current skills, needs and objectives, we will propose a number of hours of instruction we think is necessary to achieve your objectives.

Duration
Your progress will depend on how often you will attend a language class, how much you study on your own and on your learning style.  There is a clear correlation between the frequency of the classes and results. The more often you hear and practice the foreign language, the more you learn.

Mid-term, final evaluations and maintaining the acquired level

Mid-term evaluation
We believe that a well structured language course should produce results. That is why, at mid-term, we will evaluate your progress, put it on a graph and compare it with your initial assessment.

Final evaluation
A final evaluation will tell you exactly where you are in terms of foreign language acquisition. We will compare your acquisitions with the objectives set at the beginning of the course.

Maintaining the acquired level
Acquiring and maintaining a language is an ongoing process requiring constant practice. At the end of the course we won’t leave you on your own, we will tell you what you will need to do in order to maintain the progress what you have already achieved.

One on one and group classes

All our courses can be taught in groups or on one on one.
